Your Child Therapist
Hello, my name is Rebecca and I am a child psychotherapist specialised in Play. I am accredited by and a full member of the British Association of Play Therapists. Based in South London, I have been providing Play Therapy for children, young adults, and their families for over a decade.
Therapeutic Approach
Educated in a Master's degree in Play Therapy, I have worked in schools, for the NHS and with Barnardo's Children's Charity. I work from a non-directive, child-centred approach, meaning I allow the children and young people to tell me in their own way what is going on in their world.
I have experience working with children and families who have suffered sexual abuse, child sexual exploitation, domestic violence, bereavement, anxiety, adoption and fostering, attachment disorders, family breakdown, low self-esteem, illness and developmental complexities.
